Can you hire a hacker?

Can you hire a hacker? Yes: an ethical hacker, with written permission, to test systems you control. Contact ShadowSec Lab. Unauthorized access is not a service.

Can you hire a hacker?

People type ‘can you hire a hacker’ because the word hacker is doing too much work. In this building it means a specialist who attempts to break systems you have the right to test. It does not mean access to someone else’s phone, mailbox, or wallet.

In the UK, the Computer Misuse Act is the bright line. Consent from a person entitled to control the system is what makes a penetration test a professional service instead of an offence. Similar lines exist in most jurisdictions we work in. We will not operate without that consent in writing.

The same rule kills a long list of popular search intent. We will not help you access a partner’s device, an employee’s accounts, or a third-party exchange. We will not recover stolen cryptocurrency by attacking other people’s infrastructure. Those requests are declined, every time.

What you can hire us for is ordinary, auditable work: penetration testing, application and cloud reviews, red team operations against your own estate, and incident response inside your environment. You get a contract, a scope, a report, and a retest.

If you are an individual who has been scammed, start with your bank, the platform involved, and local law enforcement. A private lab cannot lawfully seize funds from strangers on the internet, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you a second problem.

Tell us the systems you own, who can authorize testing, and the outcome you need. If the job is unlawful, we will say no. If it is a pentest, a mobile-app review, or incident response inside your company, we will reply within one business day.

Can you hire a hacker legally?

Yes, if they are testing systems you are entitled to authorize and the permission is in writing. That is a penetration test, not a crime.
